(More customer reviews)So far, this light works very well. It's super bright and works just as well for still imagery as it does for video. Having a constant light source like this is especially beneficial for my Canon 5D MKII, as the auto-focus works better if the object is well lit. I also like the additional mounting options and the rechargeable battery. It also looks like it's designed to attach additional lights for even more lighting power!
The only negative I can think of so far is the lack of filter attachments, but I solved this by attaching a diffuser using tape. Otherwise, great light!

The DV60 LED can be mounted on most DSLRs and camcorders using the built-in accessory shoe. Or, you can use the included adapter for added height. In some applications you may find it necessary or desirable to use the included side adapter bracket. This bracket fits into the tripod socket of your camera. Also included is an adapter to fit the unit on Sony Handycam Camcorders. The included Li-Ion battery simply snaps into place on the back of the unit and will provide about 1-1/2 hours of running time. The battery is a 7.4V 2300 mah (NP-F550) battery, which is commonly used on Sony Cameras.The included charger works with US 110 v AC. It is compatible with 220-240v with the use of optional plug adapters.
